Chile
Chile is considered a New World wine country with influence of french old world wine techniques, due to the high influence of french migration in the 16th century. The Maule Valley is the largest and oldest valley in Chile. The size and location of the region allows for both red and white wines to be produced. The volcanic soil throughout the region has given character and popularity to the spicy Cabernet Sauvignons and Carmenere grapes from Maule Valley.
